Many companies offer matching gift programs to their employees and some offer the option to retirees. These companies match, double or even triple the amount an employee gives to a charitable organization. Contact your human resources department for more information.

The Pet Memorial Fund offers a lasting way to remember beloved pets. Animal-related books bought with these funds have a special Pet Memorial bookplate inscribed with the name of the pet and the donor.

The Friends of the Library in Redding, Anderson and Burney, receive thousands of donated books each year. Many books are placed in the libraries’ collections. The remainder are resold to the public through library bookstores, book sales, and online. All profits benefit the Shasta Public Libraries and many books are donated to schools and other non-profit organizations.
